Diesel Mechanic
Location: Williston, ND – Shop & Field Service (occasional on‑site repairs)
Reports To: Fleet Maintenance Manager

What You’ll Do
- Diagnose & repair diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, pneumatics, DEF/after‑treatment, and electrical systems on Class 8 trucks and trailers.
- Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) including oil changes, filter replacements, lube services, brake inspections, and DOT annuals.
- Conduct field service calls with a fully stocked service truck; safely troubleshoot roadside or well‑site breakdowns.
- Document work in our CMMS (TMT/Trimble) for accurate repair history and parts tracking.
- Collaborate with drivers and dispatch to prioritize repairs, minimize downtime, and meet production schedules.
- Maintain a clean, safe shop—comply with OSHA, DOT, and company HSE policies at all times.
What You’ll Bring
Must‑Have
- 3+ years experience as a diesel tech (or tech school + 1 yr)
- Strong diagnostic skills with OEM software (e.g., Cummins Insite, Detroit DDDL)
- Own complete hand/tool set
- Ability to lift 75 lbs and work outdoors in all weather
- Valid driver’s license & clean MVR
Nice‑to‑Have
- Experience with Cummins X15, Detroit DD15, or PACCAR MX‑13 engines
- Welding/fabrication capability (stick & MIG)
- CDL‑A (or willingness to obtain)
- Hydraulic fracturing or oilfield equipment experience
- ASE T1‑T8 or EVT/FPS certifications
What We Offer
- Competitive pay: $32–$46/hour DOE + time‑and‑a‑half after 40 hrs
- Sign‑on bonus: $3,000 (paid at 90/180 days)
- Schedule: 5 × 10s or 4 × 12s; rotating on‑call weekend (paid standby)
